FLOWER SALE 2023

As in the past, the Troop would like to provide you with a resource to help you earn your way through the Scouting program.  By participating in the flower sale, you can earn enough money to pay your dues and raise additional funds for your Scout Account.  This is a great opportunity to help yourself and your Troop, let’s sell a ton of flowers!

Here’s what’s in it for you…

  • For every $1 you sell, the troop will immediately put 30 cents in your Scout Account. The more you sell, the more you earn in your account.
  • ALL profit from the presale orders will go to your Scout Account.
  • You have 3 weeks to sell.
  • We will use the same supplier as the last few years! Robben Florist and Greenhouse is well known and because they are located in Cincinnati, they can provide better service to us and our customers.
  • Scout Account funds can be used for dues, gear, fees, summer camp, high adventure, uniforms, etc…
  • On-site customer pick up will be one day only – Saturday, April 29th, The troop will also raise money that day with an onsite sale at the church.

Reminders…

  • We will again be selling perennials in addition to our regular items. These are plants that come back every year, so please make sure to point them out to your customers.
  • Color Flower Guide is linked above. Please print out to show customers who may not be familiar with the plants.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

With each order:

  1. Print a copy of the flower sale flyer from the link above/on the troop website for actual pictures of the flowers to use while selling.  Be informed!
  2. Have the customer complete the electronic order form with all of their information.
  3. If you are delivering the order, have the customer select delivery on the form and add your name and contact information. Delivery only available for orders over $100.
  4. Collect payment – Customers can use PayPal, Check, or Cash. Checks should be made payable to Troop 281. All payment must be select at time of order.
  5. The electronic form will send the customer a receipt via email.  That way they have your information and it is a reminder of when and where to pick up their flowers and that additional flowers will be available for purchase that day.

Important Dates to Remember

Pre-Sale Orders will be collected during any Troop meeting up until the final deadline.

  • April 4th – Final Deadline (If there is no meeting, arrangements will be made)
  • Orders must include full payment to be included in the final order
  • Troop order due to the greenhouse – April 10th (Orders received past this date are not guaranteed by the date of the sale)

**Scouts should make plans to help at the church on Saturday, April 29th.  Adult help is also needed in the morning of April 28th,  when the plants are delivered to unload and sort.  Any help is appreciated so mark your calendars!  Volunteer sign ups will be conducted as we get closer to the date.
