CAMP FRIEDLANDER 2025!

In the last weeks of June, Troop 281 goes for a week of summer camp at a variety of Boy Scout camps around the Midwest as well as at Dan Beard’s Camp Friedlander. For 2025, Troops 281-B+G will attend Camp Friedlander, EVEN RETURNING TO OUT BELOVED “LAKESIDE CAMPSITE” right here in Loveland, Ohio!

Camp Friedlander is the premier Scouts BSA Summer Camp program with a wide variety of merit badge options, activities for younger and older Scouts, training opportunities for adult leaders, and some of the best camping facilities in the country. Each summer, thousands of Scouts from across the nation (and the world!) make Camp Friedlander their summer camp home for a fun week of learning, achievement, leadership, and Scouting at its best.

Cost for Summer Camp is $525.

I apologize for the final increased price, but Friedlander didn’t publish the final costs until recently. For clarity that’s $475 OUT OF POCKET, PLUS the troop pays our Adults Scouter registrations as they already volunteer to take a week of vacation to be with our scouts…

Deposit: $100
1-March-2025: Merit Badge Selections
1-March-2025: $200 Payment #2
1-May-2025: $225 Balance
Cancellation after 15-May-2025 (TBD) will result in forfeiture of Summer Camp Cost DEPOSIT ($100).
