Troop 281 Summer July 4 Parade Service Project
This summer we’re hoping to launch a new partnership between Troop 281 and Anderson Township, by assisting with the annual Anderson Independence Day Parade. This will be on Monday, July 4th, just after summer camp.
Help is needed in a variety of areas associated with the parade and post-parade celebration at the Anderson Towne Center between 8am and 2pm on the 4th. Scouts, as well as family members and friends, are invited to help out for part or all of the day!
A brief overview of the parade and volunteer needs is provided through the attached presentation. As this event occurs over the summer, when the Troop is not meeting, and during a transition time of youth leadership, we are using Sign Up Genius to coordinate volunteer assignments.
