Order of the Arrow

Troop 281 encourages its Scouts to participate in the Order of the Arrow, an honor camper organization within the Boy Scouts.  The Order of the Arrow is based on Native American traditions.  It is unique in that prospective OA members are nominated each spring by their troop peers - who are nonmembers - based on their service to others.

Our Troop OA Representative maintains the following OA events calendar (see below to add it to your electronic calendar):

Follow these instructions to make the OA calendar flow automagically into your own electronic calendar. This will work for any electronic calendar – Google Calendar, Outlook, Mac iCal, iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, etc. As updates are made to the calendar, they will appear on your electronic calendar!

1. Open your calendar application’s settings.

2. Find the place to add a new calendar or account.

3. Choose to add a subscribed calendar (or “add by URL”).

4. Cut and paste in the following: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=2cisn6i255raeuvs8a3smgs6k02rddfe%40import.calendar.google.com&ctz=America%2FNew_York

(If this does not work, try again and change %40 to @.)

5. Save the settings and enjoy.
